Designed for use as a primary or supplemental heat source, the DVD48 delivers up to 28,000 BTUs of heat with efficiency ranging from 60 to 80 percent. Its direct vent design separates room air from combustion air, providing reliable performance and comfortable warmth for a variety of residential spaces.
The Tahoe Deluxe 48 features Empire's Contour tube-style burner paired with a detailed, hand-painted ceramic fiber log set to create a natural dancing flame and realistic wood-burning appearance. Large heat-resistant tempered glass windows provide an unobstructed view of the log set and flames while helping transfer heat into the living space. Effective thermal transfer through the glass and natural air circulation provide consistent room heating and added comfort.
Designed for zero-clearance installation, the Tahoe Deluxe 48 can be installed in a wall, cabinet, or corner mantel for excellent project flexibility. Available with Millivolt or Intermittent Pilot ignition, the fireplace can support optional remote or thermostat operation for added convenience. Many configurations can also continue providing heat during a winter power outage.
