Designed for approved vent-free fireplaces and fireboxes, it can also be installed in a vented fireplace with the damper locked open for decorative use.
Producing up to 40,000 BTUs of supplemental heat, the VFDT30 is available for both natural gas and propane applications. Its built-in thermostat control automatically regulates the flame to maintain your preferred room temperature, delivering consistent comfort while improving fuel efficiency. Empire’s premium Contour Burner creates natural flame movement and an expanded ember bed, while the included glowing embers enhance the realistic appearance of the fire at any heat setting.
