The Superior 6SPS48 48" Stainless Steel Chimney Pipe is engineered to provide exceptional strength, safety, and venting efficiency for 6-inch diameter wood-burning chimney systems. Constructed with a 430 stainless steel inner flue and outer casing, continuous laser-welded seams, and 1-1/2" ceramic fiber blanket insulation, this chimney pipe is built to withstand demanding high-temperature conditions while delivering reliable long-term performance. The Snap-Lock tab connection design ensures fast, secure installation and dependable system stability.
Listed to UL 103HT and ULC-S629 standards, the 6SPS48 is rated for 2100°F intermittent use and 1000°F continuous operation, making it ideal for residential wood-burning applications. It requires only a 2-inch clearance to combustible materials and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. For accurate system planning, note that each pipe overlaps 1-1/2 inches when connected, resulting in an assembled length that is 1-1/2 inches shorter than the listed length.
