The Superior WRT6050 50 Inch Traditional Front Open Wood Burning Masonry Fireplace is the largest model in the series, offering an expansive open-hearth design that delivers the grandeur and authenticity of a custom masonry fireplace. Featuring a massive smoke dome with no visible smoke shelf, this fireplace ensures reliable draft performance while providing a clear, unobstructed view of the fire. Its traditional masonry appearance can be customized with optional Mosaic Masonry Firebrick liners available in a variety of colors and patterns, allowing homeowners to create a truly distinctive centerpiece for larger living spaces.
Built for exceptional durability and cold-weather performance, the WRT6050 features a fully insulated firebox, a heavy-duty steel grate, and rugged forged andirons that are designed to withstand years of use. The integrated ash lip helps simplify maintenance by containing debris, while the easy-access damper control provides convenient fireplace operation. Standard mesh fire screens offer added safety without compromising the open-fire experience, and optional black-trim glass doors enhance both protection and aesthetics. Compatible gas log sets are also available, providing the flexibility to enjoy the appearance of a traditional fire with the convenience of gas operation.
Designed for use with the IHP 12DM chimney system or the 12HT chimney system where required, the Superior WRT6050 is approved for wood-burning applications as well as compatible vented and vent-free gas log installations. Dual left- and right-hand outside air kit compatibility helps maximize combustion efficiency, while the durable textured powder coat finish ensures long-lasting reliability.
